Meet Jo
Health & wellness coach of 20 years
I am Jo, the founder of the Thriving after 40 Coaching program. I am a personal trainer, Pilates teacher and group exercise teacher of 25years. For the last 8 years I have been working specifically with women over 40, helping women to achieve their healthiest and fittest years despite the challenges that perimenopause/menopause may bring. I am an advocate of lifestyle management. I believe that true health and longevity in weight management is only achieved through improving lifestyle behaviours. I educate, Coach and support all my clients to improving their lifestyle so that they will never have to ‘diet’ again.
My Vision
I understand that women of our era are time poor / struggling with motivation / feeling overwhelmed with what ‘diet/exercise’ they should be doing / exhausted & too tired to spend hours in the gym and kitchen
/ frustrated by the fact that what used to work for them in terms of diet and exercise no longer works!

I have worked with thousands of women to help educate, support and empower them to making lifestyle changes that not only achieve weight loss short term but actually maintain it long term. They have made sustainable lifestyle changes that have increased their energy levels, supported their hormonal health and they are now thriving through life!

I am also an Executive Menopause Coach. I host workshops and webinars for Councils, Schools and businesses to educate staff and management as to better Menopause understanding. I work with Oxfordshire Council to support women in the community who are struggling with Menopause and help them achieve their healthiest and fat loss goals.
Very importantly - I am 50 and going through Menopause myself. I am walking the walk with my clients so I fully empathise and understand all the challenges both physically and mentally that Menopause may bring.
I am passionate about helping educate all women as to how to be the happiest, healthiest versions of themselves!
